Faz Restaurants & Catering - San Jose: Elegant Mediterranean & Persian Cuisine

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times, mostly a popular place for company get togethers. The venue is excellent for large gatherings. Yes they have a bars with variety drink selections. So if you want a nice place with food that everyone can enjoy, Mediterranean style with a bit of Persian influence then this is a place to come. They also have pizza which is average when it comes to flavor. No wow factor in the pizza. The ingredients are good and fresh. The service is good. The food in terms of flavoring and execution is average. I have had much better kebabs in many other Persian or Afghani restaurants throughout the bay area. The marination is simpler and blander in flavor than other places I have been to. But, the quality of the ingredients is good. They have good starters and finger food for those who want to just have something light and drinks in a group.The menu is balanced and does have some good selections for everyone to try. Do I crave to go to this restaurant for the food ever? Never but if I had no where else to go , yes I would come here to eat as a viable option. My rating for this place is 3.5 but I will round it to 4 just for ambience and quality of ingredients plus I cannot give a 3.5 :) rating on google review.

5 stars for being able to host a large event. We were able to fit 30 people in their private dining room and the food came out pretty quick for such a large group. The food itself was good but definitely not quite up to par with the best in Mediterranean quality.

Amazing selection of Mediterranean dishes. The grilled chicken and beef roll were incredibly juicy. Super fresh and flavorful, couldn't stop eating We need to make room for some pistachio ice cream and tiramisu next time. Easy parking makes this place a no brainer, will be back for another great meal Service with a smile

Great outdoor patio with ample of seating space. I had spicy shrimp for the appetizer and it was great !! I ordered the Rack of Lamb which was very bland. Their sampler for desert is great & I highly recommend it !! Our server was awesome. I'd definitely come back and try another en·trée.

Great food and service have been the hallmark of this gem in San Jose. I have been there hundreds of times, and the personalized attention and service by Grace and team have been incredible. Covered parking in the back of the restaurant is very helpful! Perfect place for a business lunch or dinner.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Carmel. What a great find. Staff was very welcoming and we were seated right away. They brought out pita bread and cucumber salad then an additional tray of hummus, baba ganoush and tzatiki. Everything was delicious so far! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a chicken kabob for lunch. The chicken kabob came with saffron rice and broccoli. Yum. Everything cooked well and chicken was tender and juicy. Sandwich had avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion with an aioli served on a toasted soft roll. Delicious. We were glad we made the detour here to have lunch. Yum!

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is superb, and Grace and her team go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their personalized service is a standout feature, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Additionally, the availability of covered parking in the back alleviates any parking worries. Whether it's a casual lunch or a formal business dinner, this place ticks all the boxes for a fantastic dining outing!

Faz Restaurants & Catering offers a delightful Mediterranean menu and its one of our most common office outing place ,given its proximity to work , ambience and food. Standout appetizers include the hummus trio and grilled calamari, while main courses like the perfectly grilled chicken kebabs, and flavorful vegetarian options like falafel are equally impressive. Desserts such as baklava and chocolate mousse cake provide a satisfying finish to the meal. Our group also ordered vegetarian pasta, pasta with jumbo prawns, salmon with veggies, a kabob combo platter, and chicken kebabs—all exceeding expectations. Suffice to say that we have been here a minimum of 10 times in last couple of couple of years and its been satisfying every time.
